I really did my research when looking for lodging in the Walt Disney World-Orlando, Florida area. I wanted somewhere large enough to be comfortable, with kitchen facilities so that we could eat at least breakfast in on some days and that would be close enough to Walt Disney World that we wouldn't waste time in traffic or getting lost. The Island Hideaway was more than I had expected. It was very reasonably priced considering all that we got for our money. We would stay there again.

We loved the villas at Island Hideaway, where we stayed on our recent Walt Disney World Orlando vacation. A trip to the Disney theme parks is exhausting so it is very nice to come "home" to a nice relaxing place -- especially when travelling with kids. (which practically everyone going to Disney is doing). I couldn't believe how large our villa was and how close we were to the theme parks. We were pleased!

We stayed at the Island Hideaway and loved it there. My husband loved using his laptop by the pool and the kids loved the kiddie pool. I of course loved the massage that I received. The restaurant food was very good as well. We WILL be back again next year without a doubt.

We were a little dissappointed at first because when we drove into the resort we thought it was a little out of the way. After driving to Disney, we realized that it wasn't that far at all. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with a full kitchen, which was great because we saved money on eating out for breakfast and dinner. The kids had their own rooms and we felt like we were at a home away from home. After being at the parks all day, we actually liked the fact that we werent staying in a busy hotel on one of the main strips and we can get away from it all. All in all, a great resort and we will definately be back next year. Great price too!!!

My family stayed at the Island Hideaway for one week this summer during our Orlando vacation. I really liked the location because it was close to Disney but not in the middle of all of the traffic and congestion. The landscape was beautiful with all of the palm trees and greenery. We enjoyed the spacious villas and with the fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, we felt right at home. I would recommend the Island Hideaway to anyone who wants goes on a Orlando vacation and stay in a serene environment.
